Reducing methane. Improving performance.

GlasPort RumenTech has developed a breakthrough feed additive, RumenGlas, that cuts methane emissions from enteric fermentation while also enhancing animal productivity.

The enteric problem

Enteric fermentation (belching) in ruminants accounts for 49% of EU agricultural greenhouse-gas emissions. At the same time, inefficiencies in digestion translate into lost feed energy, lower animal performance and higher costs. With increasing regulatory pressure, supply-chain demands and farm economics, the sector needs solutions that deliver environmental and commercial outcomes.

The RumenGlas effect

RumenGlas is a science-based feed additive for beef and dairy that reduces enteric methane by 30%, delivers 15% additional average daily weight gain with improved feed efficiency - and it uses a well-known active ingredient (calcium peroxide) with a strong safety profile.
